SIMULATIONS
Simulation modeling is a tool used for quality improvement in order to model a real system and understand its behavior through time and motion studies. Once a baseline simulation has been constructed, variables can be altered in order to predict changes to the system.
The advanced modeling techniques used allow improvements in patient processes, wait times, staff productivity, capacity, and system costs.
Below are some animated examples of simulation models. Please click to activate the model.
